A FedEx executive Chuck Noland (Tom Hanks) gets marooned on a deserted island with only his thoughts and a volleyball to keep him company. Honestly I have no idea why but the relationship between Chuck and his new found best friend Wilson is one of the most brilliant performances from Tom Hanks. Moment of Tears: Even till this day after thirteen years with a beard and tattoos the scene when Chuck falls asleep and Wilson floats away and Chuck is unable to grab him leaving Wilson float away never to been seen again. Honestly Ive never felt so much pain for an inanimate object. But then you realise that Wilson wasnt just volleyball with an awesome hairdo. That ball was the only thing that kept Chucks sanity. Honestly if I was were stuck on an island for four years Id most likely have loads of coconuts faces painted and have loads of tea parties.
