2. The Grudge (2004)
After watching Takashi Shimizus Grudge, I swore to myself that Ill never ever annoy someone so much that a curse of vengeful rage will bring them back as a terrifying Japanese supernatural force. Put me in movie with; Freddy, Leatherface, Pinhead, Michael Myers heck even Pennywise. I will take my chances with those guys then be stuck in a creepy haunted house, with a spooky little kid looking at me. I would not want to be around an unfriendly black cat and that petrifying long haired Kayako ghost that can get you anywhere you hide, even under your covers! This endless growing of horror, which pretty much scares people to death, is definitely one of the most terrifying and disturbing horror characters. I knew The Grudge was going to be a roller coaster of screaming and shielding my eyes, but when a beautiful girl wakes up and there's a guy standing at the balcony who steps off without hesitation... The care worker Yoko, arrives at the creepy house and starts her routine of cleaning but hears some noises in the attic. She is not even half way up to the attic when the lighter she is holding lights up the ghost Kayakos face and drags Yoko up kicking and screaming.
