2. C-list Cameos
Throughout his previous radio and TV appearances, Alan Partridge has never been shy of letting people know who his celebrity friends are. As you'd expect, they're hardly from the elite list; Bill Oddie's name in particular pops up more than once. Naturally feature films based on Television series take things to the next level, and with respect to Partridge's more than casual namedropping, the only way up from here is at least one cameo. More than just being on screen for the sake of it however, a personal appearance by someone such as Oddie would also be a great way to put a nice spin on a character that even devoted fans don't mind seeing fail. Although Alan previously told us that he once received a dressing gown as a Christmas present, the information we have been given regarding any of Partridge's friendships rather one sided. an appearance from Bill Oddie himself would not only be a great way to show the other side of this friendship, but if he were to not be as friendly as Partridge has boasted, it would be a great way to show that his more than casual name dropping is just another of Alan's many unique (and more than a little naive) ways of trying to impress. More than the likes of Bill Oddie however, there is one celebrity whose appearance would just complete Alpha Papa in a way that nothing else could...
