2. There's An Adult On Set, Charlie Brown

When you think of Charlie Brown and Snoopy what is one of the first things that pops into your head? Is it the unintelligible voices of all the grown ups? This was done to illustrate how adults and kids speak completely different languages and has been parodied on all manner of TV shows and movies. With the lack of speaking adults there was never any need for an adult to be present during the recording sessions. It wasn't like in the Simpsons where Bart is voiced by a middle aged woman the cast of It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown was made up entirely of kids. Well almost. Prior to It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown Snoopy was pretty much a mute. When it became apparent he would require a voice of his own to deliver his trademark high pitched gibberish voice the studio were forced to bring an actor on board. When said actor couldn't cut it he was replaced by chief animator Bill Melendez who became the first and only adult voice to be recorded on a Peanuts animated movie for over 40 years. We can't wait to see how this is handled in the upcoming CGI movie
