5 Things That Must Be In The Wolverine Sequel

3. Address Any Plot Holes That Result From X-Men: Days Of Future Past

It is believed that one of the goals of X-Men: DOFP is to use the time travel plot to fix a lot of plot holes and present a more cohesive cinematic universe. Between X-Men Origins: Wolverine and X-Men: First Class, there are a lot of plot holes and inconsistencies that do not align well with the original trilogy. Of course, a complicated story involving time travel could lead to even more plot holes that will need to be addressed. One plot hole that needs to be explained is in regards to the ending of The Wolverine. Logan meets Xavier and Magneto and it is implied that he is going to be helping them with the problem established for DOFP. But the Logan seen at the end of The Wolverine has bone claws (due to actions in the film) and the Future Logan seen in trailers for DOFP has adamantium claws. Confusion ensues. Let's hope that the producers will help craft the story to address any lingering plot holes to bring the X-Men movies together and set up their Fox-Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is to include the Fantastic Four.
