5 Things You Need To Know About Star Wars 7 Villain Adam Driver

2. He Is Awesome In HBO's Girls

The most recognisable work of Adam Driver's short career is definitely his role as Adam Sackler - Hannah's boyfriend in the TV series, Girls. He describes his character as "part poet, part rhinoceros and part Neanderthal." While we don't see much of him outside his apartment, Sackler is a complicated person. For lack of a better word, the part-time carpenter/actor is extraneous and withdrawn - defensive in personal matters and quick to explode. Despite these flaws, he still proves himself as a passionate individual, ending the second series in a bare-chested mad dash to Hannah's rescue in her struggle with OCD. Girls may be a comedy TV series, but if Driver is able to manipulate these character traits in a role as a Star Wars villain, fans will be in for a well-rounded and layered (although not entirely likeable) baddie.

I love all things imaginative, from the page to the screen, and nurture a soft spot for Donald Sutherland and Daniel Bryan.
