RWBY (pronounced 'Ruby') is set in the supernatural world of Remnant, where four strong girls trained as Huntresses are mankind's sole hope of defeating shadowy creatures known as Grimm. This anime micro-series might be the cult cartoon show to watch right now, but sadly the creator Monty Oum won't get to see his vision fully realised - he died during a medical procedure last year. Thankfully, his dream lives on with a fourth volume due out soon, and a 4 player hack-n-slash game called RWBY: Grimm Eclipse, inspired by Dynasty Warriors and Left 4 Dead, being developed by Rooster Teeth. RWBY's four female lead characters are proving to be a firm favourite amongst cosplay fans, and their popularity shows no signs of slowing down, so why not see what all the fuss is about? Sixteen episodes make up the entire first season of RWBY, which is streaming on Netflix now.
