5 Underrated Arnold Schwarzenegger Movies (And 1 That Is Not)

Collateral Damage (2001) Collateral Damage was just not a very good film. Released in the wake of the events of 9/11 to a public living in fear of terrorism, it was never going to be popular. Schwarzenegger€™s Gordon is a fire fighter who loses his family in a terrorist attack. What follows is Arnie spending an hour and a half tracking down and taking out an entire terrorist network. It plods along from tedious to predictable and despite boasting a decent cast (including Cliff Curtis, Elias Koteas, John Leguizamo and John Turturro) it is a direly underwhelming experience with none of the cast being able to redeem it from sub-standard thriller fare. But surely the kick-ass action scenes are good right? Nope. Which is the most disappointing aspect, given action is Schwarzenegger€™s biggest selling point. It€™s all just very dull. The action varies from Arnie running through a jungle being shot at by Colombian terrorists to the big finale (if you haven€™t switched off by then) on American soil in Washington for a big reveal so bland and contrived that arouses shrugs of indifference instead of gasps of shock. Not Arnie€™s finest moment. What are your favourite and least favourite Arnie films? Please do comment with your thoughts below.
