3. The Samurai (Guinea Pig 2: Flowers of Flesh and Blood, 1985)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMtojMtnkME The Guinea Pig films were a series of bizarre, ultra violent Japanese horror movies from the 1980's. Flowers of Flesh and Blood is the second of the seven film series and is perhaps the most notorious on American shores because Charlie Sheen actually reported it to the FBI believing it to be a genuine snuff movie. Directed in 1985 by Hideshi Hino, Flowers of Flesh and Blood revolves around the story of an unnamed Samurai who kidnaps a woman and chops her up piece by piece. The whole episode takes place in one room and is as distressing as anything you will ever watch. It is easy to see why someone may believe that what is happening on screen is real. The Guinea Pig series gained further notoriety in the early 1990's when they were found to be included in the VHS collection of notorious Japanese serial killer Tsutomu Miyazaki. So you should definitely seek this one out on DVD as soon as possible. You'll be in great company.
