5 Ways The DCEU Should Continue After The Suicide Squad

4. Keep Telling A Variety Of Different Stories

Taking inspiration from a variety of different genres is what has helped the MCU stand out as a collective universe, with no two movies following the same route when it comes to the kind of story they wish to tell.

For example, Captain America: The Winter Soldier follows the format of an espionage thriller in the vein of classic seventies-era spy flicks, whereas Guardians of the Galaxy doesn't take itself too seriously and presents a quirky and witty space opera comedy.

This is a format that the DCEU should begin to tap into - and it already has done, to a certain degree.

No two movies have to be the same and further to the point, this would help compliment the addition of certain characters. Batman can follow the dark route that has always served the world's greatest detective well, whereas a possible Booster Gold movie, for example, can take the light-hearted route that endeared Shazam! to audiences in 2019.
