3. Kumail Nanjiani- 'Eternals'
Funny man Kumail Nanjiani is probably pretty low on most peoples lists when they consider contenders to play one of the Eternals, some of the most powerful and influential beings in Marvels superhero populated universe. But that is exactly the direction that Marvel have surprisingly gone in.
Nanjiani is a fine actor, few would doubt that, and an extremely likeable human being but a superhero he is not, certainly seemingly so anyway. However recently Nanjiani has gone about his work like a superhuman professional to put these questions to bed emphatically. If the work he has put in physically (Google the before and after, kudos to you Kumail) is any indicator of the work Nanjiani is putting into his character than this should be an impressive and unexpected turn by a man who continually cements his reputation with each passing new venture he takes on.
I for one look forward to seeing Nanjiani hold his own with acting heavyweights like Jolie, Hayek and Madden.
