Another odd coupling of actor and director we'll be seeing in the near future is notoriously serious method actor, Christian Bale, working with famously funny writer/director, Taika Waititi, on the new Thor movie 'Love and Thunder'.

Bale is an actor who seems to enjoy having a diverse catalogue of work behind him and, as such, it's strange to see him appear in a superhero film again (let alone as a villain, which we expect him to be). But even stranger is to see him team up with the hottest property in comedy today in Taika Waititi.

But looking deeper and it makes all the sense in the world. Waititi is on as hot a streak as anyone working in film right now, so who wouldn't want to work with him right now?
