There was nothing wrong with what Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller showed off their upcoming film Sin City: A Dame To Kill For at this year's convention, but the movie still failed to make a noticeable splash. Perhaps it's because the marketing campaign for the film, which hits theaters on August 22nd, is just nowgoing into full swing, or maybe audiences feel that this sequel, which is arriving nine years after the original, is a case of "too little too late." Regardless of the reasoning, it's safe to say that Sin City: A Dame To Kill For didn't have the kind of impact that the film really needed. Not much was revealed during the Q&A session with the cast, and even the brief, throwaway mention of a possible Sin City 3 failed to resonate. Oh well, Sin City. There's always next year. Or, based on your track record, SDCC 2023.
