When Burger-Beard the Pirate (Antonio Banderas) hatches an evil plan that threatens the very existence of Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob, Patrick, and co. venture out into the real world to save their hides. With a hilariously insane premise (complete with plenty of gleeful Banderas mugging), welcome cameos from the likes of Guns N Roses' Slash, wacky 3D and some gorgeous CGI interpretations of the beloved characters, this has the potential to be 2015's most ludicrously entertaining animated film for both kids and adults.
