Paul McGuigan (Lucky Number Slevin, Sherlock) takes on Mary Shelley's classic novel, focusing more on Igor (Daniel Radcliffe) than Victor Frankenstein (James McAvoy) himself, demonstrating from Igor's perspective how Victor became the man who, of course, eventually created his infamous and iconic monster. It's a novel concept that should help differentiate it from the numerous theatrical and cinematic adaptations of the text over the years, though it might be a challenge to keep a straight face if Radcliffe's hair-do looks that ridiculous in the final movie. The cast also includes Jessica Brown Findlay and Sherlock's Andrew Scott, so there's plenty of talent to go around. Release Date: October 2nd
