In the movie industry, it's important to learn to take the good with the bad, as not every project you take on is going to be a winner. Look at Eddie Redmayne. Within two days in 2015, the actor took home both the Academy Award for Best Actor, and the Golden Raspberry for Worst Supporting Actor.

His work as Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything earned him huge accolades, while his turn as the villainous Balem Abrasax in Jupiter Ascending was ripped to pieces by audiences and critics alike. It says a lot when the actor actually joins in with the criticisms.

Let's face it, Eddie Redmayne is not an actor born to play a villain. A loveable underdog certainly, but not the filthy rich, megalomaniacal ruler. On this alone he was clearly the wrong choice for the part opposite Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis, but he also made some bold choices himself that seem to only solidify this thought.

His character's speech was framed around the fact that he had had his larynx torn out, but the end result was really just a wheezy mess. You have to commend Redmayne for throwing himself into the role and trying something new, but this one just didn't work out.
