50 Infuriating Horror Movie Characters We All Secretly Wanted To Die

4. The Saw Franchise - Many Of Jigsaw's Victims

OK fine, this one is cheating a bit, but here's the thing: Jigsaw's games have tested so many appalling people that highlighting just one would feel unfair. This started from the very first Saw film, as Dr. Gordon and Adam, the two men trapped in the bathroom, were pretty unlikable, and the sequels have only dialled this up.

To name some of the biggest examples:

Saw II was headlined by a corrupt cop (Donnie Wahlberg) who'd ruined many lives, while Saw III's protagonist (Angus Macfadyen) ultimately lost all audience sympathy when he failed to learn anything and got his innocent wife killed. In Saw IV's main game, Officer Rigg (Lyriq Bent) encountered several evil and remorseless criminals.

Saw VI featured Jigsaw's apprentice taking on some deeply corrupt American healthcare officials who'd caused the deaths of many people through their greed and unethical practices, while 2017's prequel/sequel Jigsaw went back to Jigsaw's first game, which tested a group of uniformly detestable pieces of waste. One of them had even killed her own baby and then framed her husband for it, who later committed suicide.

There's also the most recent Saw X, where Jigsaw went after a group of scam artists who took money from cancer patients and then pretended to cure them. Seriously, how sick can you be?

So, are the Saw franchise's sadistic murders justified? Absolutely not, but at the same time, it's difficult to feel sorry for a lot of those victims. Many of them should've been in prison long ago.
