Yet another film based on a Rolling Stone article (putting it in the exhalted company of Boogie Nights, Almost Famous and Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas), Arms And The Dudes follows the irresistibly good story of a pair of stoner kids from Miami Beach who became "the least likely merchants of death in history."

Thanks to a massive, improbably won arms contract worth $300 million to supply weapons and ammo to US Forces and allies in Afghanistan, the pair rose to riches, but found they gained enemies at home and abroad. Jonah Hill and Miles Teller are the two stoners in question, which sounds like exceptional casting, and the original Rolling Stone article is an incredible source, so excitement is well placed.
