50 Most Anticipated Movies Of 2016 - Ranked

19. Hail, Caesar!

Are we on the cusp of another Coen Brothers classic?

If the critical predictions are anything to go by this 1950s set love letter to the era - and its cinema - will be close to perfect, which can only be good news. Of course there could be a slight whiff about hyperbole about that, but the Coens are a bankable brand, and they've assembled a great cast.

In delightfully noirish fashion, Josh Brolin stars as a Hollywood €œfixer€ tasked with finding a star (George Clooney) who is kidnapped by a group called "The Future". Expect a distinctly meta flavour, loving homages to 1950s Hollywood and the collected talents of Ralph Fiennes, Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Tilda Swinton, and Frances McDormand. All of that spells Oscar nominations at the start of 2017.
