9. Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them

It was always inevitable that JK Rowling and Warner Bros would find a way to continue their ludicrously lucrative Harry Potter franchise: it has thus far earned the company a staggering near $8 million haul and cashing those chips before another sure-fire gamble would be foolish.

So in comes Eddie Redmayne as pseudo-legacy hero Newt Scamander, the writer of Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them who might as well be a grown-up amalgamation of Harry, Ron and Hermione, with Hagrid's love of magical creatures thrown in and Dumbledore's glint in his eye.

He will star in a tail of misadventure (when the magical creatures in Scamander's care get loose), action (as the magical authorities hunt him down for his idiocy and for straining relations between magical and non-magical communities) and intrigue (as an extremist group seeks to wipe out all wizarding kind). And Harry Potter fans will pour hundreds of millions of dollars on it.
