50 Most Anticipated Movies Of 2017 - Ranked

When Edgar Wright departed Ant-Man after seemingly pouring years into pre-production, the question of what he would do next rang loudly around Hollywood and amongst his fans. The answer lies in this tale of a young getaway driver facing danger when a job he works on goes wrong.

The film - apparently based at least partly on a music video Wright directed for Mint Royale back in 2003 - sees a more dramatic approach for Wright than usual, but his almost obsessive attention to genre-detail in his past pastiche works suggests that won't be a difficult transition.

And the director has a great cast to call upon with Ansel Elgort's driver joined by villains as starry as Kevin Spacey, Jamie Foxx, John Hamm and Jon Bernthal. That's quite the list. Who needs Ant-Man, anyway?
