Warner Bros.

Finally an answer to the question nobody ever even thought to ask: how would a blend of Lock, Stock& Two Smoking Barrels and Game Of Thrones look?

In Legend Of The Sword, Guy Ritchie has turned his stylised eye to the Arthurian legend, adding his usual quirks - Cockney wide-boys, slow-motion and giddy camerawork, tops-off fist fighting and LOTS of swagger. He's got Charlie Hunnam as his lead, and a talented supporting cast including Djimon Hounsou, Eric Bana, Jude Law and Aidan Gillen and by the look of the trailer he's made damn sure they all fit his usual aesthetic approach to film-making.

Quite whether the world needs a new King Arthur movie remains to be seen, but the opportunity to see Ritchie inject lots of street rat muscle and winking charisma to it seems too good an opportunity to pass up. Especially as it worked so well for Sherlock Holmes.
