Given the Internet's very conscious love affair with "doggos", it looks like Fox and Wes Anderson have pulled off a masterstroke with stop-motion animation Isle Of Dogs.

The film is typical Anderson magic, with a huge range of talent behind the dogs including Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Bill Murray and Jeff Goldblum (as well as the usual Anderson alumni) and a delightful sounding story focused on quarantined dogs fed up with being isolated. It will be quirky, it will be charming and it will be one of the most critically adored films of the year, judging by the director's precedent.

And you can reasonably expect every dog loving cinephile in the world to want to see it, so it's bound to make good money for something so self-consciously quaint.
