At the minute, Netflix's adaptation of Stephen King's In The Long Grass doesn't have a confirmed release date other than a general 2019 bracket, but that seems to be how the streamers operate these days. Just be thankful that they announced it at all before dropping it on the platform.

The adaptation follows a brother and sister who venture into a field of long grass after hearing a young boy's cry for help and realise they've walked into mortal peril. It stars the always great Patrick Wilson, who seems to still be underrated, as well as Laysla De Oliveira, Harrison Gilbertson, Avery Whitted, Rachel Wilson, and Will Buie Jr.

In the current market, King adaptations are big business and its release on Netflix guarantees bottle-necked hype and lots of viewers.
