38. The Addams Family

An animated take on the Addams Family franchise - which originated as comics in The New Yorker - might not be anyone's idea of one of the more exciting movies of the year ordinarily, but this is a matter of talent.

Made by the directors of Sausage Party - Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan - the family will be voiced by Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloë Grace Moretz, Finn Wolfhard, Nick Kroll, Bette Midler, and Allison Janney. And that's a hell of a group of names.

The plot follows The Addams family's as they face-off against a greedy reality TV host and prepare for a huge celebration involving their wider family, but it's all just an excuse for (hopefully) some of Sausage Party's more adult material and great vocal performances.
