For all that could be said about upcoming animation Missing Link - including the brilliant cast featuring Hugh Jackman, Zoe Saldana and Zach Galifianakis, the glorious stop-motion style of the intriguing story - there's only one thing most fans will need to know about it. It's made by Laika.

The company have made a name in recent years as one of the best animation houses outside of Disney and Pixar and their commitment to stop motion, which started with debut Coraline and has now taken in ParaNorman, The Boxtrolls and the beautiful Kubo And The Two Strings, is a wonderful agenda we should all back. Their achievements in the medium are nothing short of incredible.

It's essentially a Big Foot comedy, but with Laika you can always expect great characters, huge heart and dazzling art style. And now that Travis Knight's genius is being more widely celebrated on the back of Bumblebee, it should hopefully get even more attention.
