43. Scene: T-800 vs. SWAT
As the gang attempts to flee the Cyberdyne building, a SWAT team fires gas grenades at them. It's no problem for the T-800, who has devised a relatively unconventional method of disabling them; kneecapping the first few, then grabbing a gas grenade launcher and crippling the rest by firing it into them at close range. Keep your eyes peeled for Dean Norris beneath one of the SWAT team's gas masks - yes, that's Hank from
Breaking Bad.
44. T-1000's Mad Motorbike Skills
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcW9Bd4vjaY&feature=player_embedded Whoever thought this mad-awesome stunt up deserves some sort of award. Moments after Arnie drives the SWAT truck into the Cyberdyne building to save John and Sarah, the T-1000, now disguised as a police officer, drives a police motorbike up into the building, then drives it out of a window into a helicopter, nuts the window with his robotic head, and then morphs through the smashed window in liquid form before promptly getting the pilot to eject himself by uttering the famous line, "Get out". The T-1000 then continues to pursue our intrepid heroes.
45. The Little Details
Given how bombastic and insane the effects-driven action is, it's surprising that Cameron even bothered with this minute detail and subtle injection of visual effects that most people will never even notice. Keep an eye on the T-1000 when he flies the helicopter while shooting at the SWAT van; he now has 3 hands! As a youngster, this never even crossed my mind, and as an adult, the discovery was mind-blowing.
