6 Actors Who Must Be Cast In A Justice League Movie

3. Green Lantern - Enver Gjokaj

Green Lantern Enver

OK, can we just agree here and now not to let Ryan Reynolds in on this film? He seems nice enough, but any involvement in a superhero film so far has been a bad omen. If there's one thing that will fix the Green Lantern legacy, it's taking the 2011 Green Lantern film out into the back garden and burying it there - out of sight, out of mind.

That said, I think he got a lot of things right in his portrayal of Hal Jordan. The guy's a really good pilot, and his primary environment was the air force so he will have built up a brash, laddish attitude, which came across rather well. So, if not Mr Reynolds, then who?

If anyone has seen the animated films that feature Green Lantern voiced by Nathan Fillion, then they will see the sort of Jordan that I'm hoping will appear on screen. In fact, a younger, Firefly-aged Nathan Fillion would have been perfect for the role, but since he's aged a bit too much in recent years, I'm looking to another alumni of the Joss Whedon acting dynasty.

Enver Gjokaj is a relative unknown, but no less known than a pre-Thor Chris Hemsworth. He has a good dramatic and comedic style as proven in his multiple television roles, and I think he would make a fantastic Hal Jordan (maybe even with the Russian accent, who knows?)
