6 Actors Who Must Be Cast In A Justice League Movie

2. Cyborg - Donald Glover

Cybrog Donald Glover

Now, I know this choice of hero is a bit out there as Cyborg isn't nearly as iconic as the rest of the heroes on this list, but I still think he would make a good addition to the film. Perhaps like the far lesser-known Hawkeye who appeared in The Avengers movie, Cyborg could be a bit of a dark horse in the writers room. Starring in the New 52 lineup of Justice League, Cyborg has proven he makes a good addition to the team, and there really are a shockingly low number of non-white superheroes in our cinemas at the moment.

For me there's one actor who can play Cyborg - the multi-talented Donald "Childish Gambino" Glover. While Glover has taken a step back from the acting world to pursue a career as a rap-artist, I feel that a nice, big, super-sized check from Warner Brothers might convince him to bring an end to his early retirement.

Cyborg is very reminiscent to me of Troy Barnes (Glover's Community character); neither of them are outstanding students or even young men. They both have an outlet of American football to affirm themselves, but they each wish for a little bit more.

This is not to say that I think Glover would just turn in the same old performance; as Dan Harmon noted on the Community DVD commentary, Glover has matured as an actor since he started working on the show. He is capable of adding subtlety and vulnerability to his scenes, and I think he would be an asset to this film and the lineup of the Justice League.
