6 Actors Who Must Be Cast In A Justice League Movie

1. The Martian Manhunter - Giancarlo Esposito

Finally, the Martian Manhunter is an alien, hailing from Mars; he is widely acknowledged as one of the most important, central members of the Justice League. Since the majority of my knowledge of this character comes from the animated film Justice League: Doom, I only have a few casting criteria. The actor must be of African descent and not fit into everyday life easily.

So, who to play him? Well, the busy and brilliant Idris Elba would be my first choice if not for another. Elba has shown time and time again his power and gravity that would make the part of the Manhunter his own, but he lacks the alien-like quality that my first choice possesses.

Giancarlo Esposito played the incomparable Gustavo Fring on Breaking Bad and, much like fellow BB star Bryan Cranston (if the Lex Luthor rumours ever come to anything), I feel he will make an excellent addition to the serious and dark world of DC. Fring is like a snake; he slides along, unnoticed in his every day cover as a fast-food chain owner, but underneath that calm exterior, he has venom and he can in no way be trusted.

Esposito would be a brilliant Martian Manhunter I have no doubt, and he would be an invaluable member of the Justice League.
