6 Avengers: Age Of Ultron Deleted Scenes You Need To See

2. Banner And Romanoff

The relationship between Bruce Banner and Natasha Romanoff was one of the more controversial elements of the film, what with the way it posited the usually strong Black Widow as a love interest, and this was nowhere more-so than the bedroom scene, in which she reveals her Red Room past and sterilisation, referring to herself as a monster. There was actually a longer version of that scene, which fleshes out both characters a little bit more. While in the finished version it's left quite open, and the rejection doesn't come until towards the end, here Banner outright states that the two of them together, leaving the Avengers behind, can "never" happen. It adds a bit more depth to the scene, in terms of what Banner thinks of himself and Romanoff's visibly hurt reaction, though whether it really would've added to the film probably depends on whether or not you liked the scene in the first place. If you did, then you'll probably enjoy this. If not, I don't think it'll change your perception of it too much.
