6 Avengers: Age Of Ultron Deleted Scenes You Need To See

1. Thor Cave Sequence

The weirdest scene in the whole movie was when Thor, after donning some pretty poor disguise, enlisted the help of Dr Erik Selvig and went to some cave, where he had a vision that included a very brief shot of the Infinity Stones and boom, all of a sudden you had him figuring everything out and going back to help save the day. It didn't make much sense, and was one of the scenes that Whedon stated he wasn't happy with (but included in order to keep the Hawkeye farm scene). He also revealed that there had been a longer cut, and that has now came to light. In it, Thor is possessed by the Norns (beings who control the destinies of gods and men), and they answer questions asked by Dr Selvig. It's still unquestionably a weird scene, one that would be more at home in a Thor movie than an Avengers one, but it does at least answer questions a lot more clearly. In particular, it really sets up the Infinity Stones, and explains how Thor comes to know about them upon his return. While you can question the presence of the scene, if you are going to include it, this version would've made sense because, well, it genuinely makes more sense, not only in setting up Infinity War but for Thor's part in the rest of the movie, and it allows Chris Hemsworth to cut loose and act a bit crazy. Now that you've read about them, you can view all of the deleted scenes here in one handy YouTube montage (or, of course, check them out on the Blu-Ray). https://youtu.be/TGcJxv9xVlM Should any of these scenes have been left in the film?
