6. Joel Kinnaman - Rick Flag (Suicide Squad)

Joel Kinnaman is one of those actors who just does not seem capable of making an impression. There has never been a part that only Kinnaman could have played or where replacing him with another actor would have hindered the film.

Kinnaman as Rick Flag in Suicide Squad is another bland performance to add to the ever-growing list of bland performances.

The role of Rick Flag, the watchful eye over the bad-guy members of the squad, could have been a much more compelling character had the role been given to a more dynamic actor. Kinnaman tried to get across the stoic, no-nonsense attitude of an experienced solider, but instead he seems like a pushover rookie. He is certainly not the kind of guy you put in charge of a gang of ne'er do wells and expect it all to go successfully.

The less said about the supposed love story with June Moone the better. No wonder they wanted Tom Hardy for this in the beginning. Oh, what could have been.
