6 Best Uses For Henry Cavill In DCEU's Future
3. A Good Team Movie - Justice League Of America
You certainly don't want Superman as a last-act Deus Ex Machina to show up and help out in solo movies like Shazam 2, but a proper team movie of some sort would be good to variously wash the taste of Justice League out of our mouths, or build on the success of the Snyder Cut, whichever angle gives Warner Bros. the best chance of having another shot at a team-up.
A movie titled 'Justice League of America' would differentiate from the original in the same way James Gunn's The Suicide Squad is attempting to do from David Ayer's original. Admittedly, if the studio haven't sorted out their position on Batman re. Affleck vs Pattinson, it would be a shame to not have the caped crusader present in the team, but the line-up has changed enough over the years that it shouldn't be a deal breaker.
It definitely seems appropriate to attempt another team up in the near future after more individual characters have been established in their own movies, like The Flash and Shazam. But if that is the case, it can't hurt to then add a couple more members, such as Martian Manhunter and Green Lantern.
Indeed it might even be useful to not focus on continuity too much, and approach it more with the view of George Miller's cancelled Justice League Mortal movie - a standalone team movie without too much baggage of what we've seen before.
