6 Future Billion Dollar Movies That Were Announced In 2013
4. Bond 24 (2015)
The world had high hopes for James Bond's 23rd outing, Skyfall, given the wealth of talent involved, but nobody could have really guessed the movie would find quite as much critical acclaim and box office success as it did: Skyfall emerged as a triumph of movie-making - everything from the acting to the direction, to the set-pieces to the soundtrack, marked this venture out as one of the all-time best Bond efforts. It's no wonder that in July of this year, it was announced that the same crew - including director Sam Mendes - would be returning for Bond 24. Plot details are thin as it stands, but it's been hinted that Bond 24 and its follow-up, Bond 25, will form an incredibly close relationship, and might even mark the last outings for Daniel Craig's interpretation of the British spy. In case it somehow slipped under your radar, it's important to remember that Skyfall made a whopping $1.1 billion dollars at the box office in 2012, which pretty much sets the yet untitled Bond 24 up for huge box office numbers. Given the quality of Skyfall and the resurgence of Bondmania, then, there's no reason why this sequel couldn't double its success.
