6 People Who Should Replace Jimmy Fallon

1. Joel McHale

joel mchale Easily the top choice, Joel McHale has had a busy past few years. Beginning in improvisation as so many of these people do, he eventually landed guest spots on numerous shows, and has moved into films on several occasions (appearing in The Informant!, The Big Year, and most recently Seth MacFarlane's film Ted). He also plays the lead role in one of the only truly great sitcoms ever made, and has been a frequent guest on Late Night, among many other talk shows. But perhaps his main qualification is that of his job hosting E's The Soup, a weekly show satirizing news and television of the past week. He took over from Greg Kinnear (when the show was known as Talk Soup) in 2004, and has been at it ever since, with over 400 episodes under his belt. He's also been able to lead it from being a fairly unknown show to being among E's most watched shows. So! Whaddya think? Any other excellent candidates we've missed? Sound off in the comments below!
