6 Places The Soul Stone Might Turn Up In The MCU

One character we do know will be appearing in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is Ayesha, played by Elizabeth Debicki.

In the comics, she was the second being made by the Enclave, a sort of sister to Adam Warlock. While Warlock is definitely a no-show, could his story be transplanted to his female counterpart? It's possible... but unlikely.

So far, very little of the plot of Guardians Vol. 2 has been revealed. We know it will revolve around the idea of family, and that Kurt Russell's Ego will play an important part. We don't even know who the villain will be, and while it was at one time rumoured to be Ayesha, those whisperings have died down somewhat.

James Gunn has said that the Infinity Stones won't play a large role in the sequel, and while writers and directors in the MCU have deliberately misled us before, it seems likely that Gunn is telling the truth this time.
