6 Reasons Why Tron 3 Needs To Happen Already

2. More Cillian Murphy

Cillian Murphy made a cameo appearance in Tron: Legacy as Edward Dillinger, Jr., son of the first film€™s antagonistic fraud, Edward Dillinger. The fact that he has a position in ENCOM in light of his father€™s bad history with the company is curious, and a brief Easter egg on the Legacy Blu-ray involving him ominously conversing through text with his €œDad€ €“ whose words are spoken by a voice that bears quite the resemblance to the first film€™s Master Control Program €“ raises many questions. Murphy is an excellent actor and to see his role expanded upon in Tron 3 would undoubtedly be enjoyable. Throw in David Warner, reprising his role as Dillinger, Sr., and the film could twist on the concepts of father/son legacy seen between Kevin and Sam to a far more interesting, villainous extent. Whether he€™s masterminding a new version of the MCP or trying to regain the control of ENCOM that his father had long since lost, Murphy€™s extended presence on or off the Grid would undoubtedly be nothing short of entertaining.
