3. Electro
A collective "...huh?!" echoed from fans' mouths upon the reveal that none other than Jamie Foxx was going to be playing Maxwell 'Electro' Dillon. The subsequent pre-production shot of him on-set didn't do much to dissuade the fanboys from crying foul at his new appearance, a far cry from the green and yellow starburst-face that adorns him in the regular 616 universe. Instead we got a bright blue, radioactive-looking Smurf. However in the new trailer, with all the after-effects of animated lightning bolts and smashes, coupled with Foxx's pretty intense-looking facial-makeup, I actually think he could pull it off. I mean just look at that face, he looks pretty damn intimidating, and whilst Harry's inevitable turn to the dark side is loaded with notions of friendship staying Spidey's hand, the showdown between him and Electro will be where the vast majority of the films CGI budget will have gone.
