6 Ways DC Can Make A Wonder Woman Movie That Doesn't Suck

5. Women In Combat

Wonder Woman is the original warrior princess. Initially her character was based on the Amazons from Greek mythology, a fierce tribe of females known for their skill in combat. It€™s a rich and well developed backstory though it is often misrepresented. Wonder Woman is not a filmy goddess she€™s a soldier. If you want to portray her strengths accurately and memorably look at women in countries where the military allows them to serve in combat roles. A movie premiering in 2017 is a particularly timely one, at least in the United States and Britain where women are only beginning to be fully integrated into the armed forces. Wonder Woman is uniquely situated as a character that embodies strength combined with wisdom and compassion. If she is given a story that showcases her fighting ability while acknowledging her intelligence and empathy she will truly be a force to be reckoned with.
