67 WTF Moments From The Terminator Franchise

34. "Talk To Duh Hand" - Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines

During the T-850's early trip to the gay bar, the stripper he eventually gets his clothes from tells him, "Talk to the hand", causing him to quite literally grab the hand and talk to it, saying, " now." This relatively painful gag gets turned up to excruciating levels later when the machine steals supplies from a convenience store and, when the clerk tells him to pay, he simply stretches out his hand and repeats the zinger. It's made even worse by some terrible music (Dat Funky Man by William Randolph III) which suddenly blares out for a few seconds afterwards, at which point Terminator fans the world over were no doubt squirming down into their seats.

33. The Terminator Smiles - Terminator 2: Judgment Day

T2 may feature mostly dark comedy, but it's not above a few more broadly silly gags, though perhaps Cameron was smart to save this one for the Special Edition. In it, John tries to teach the T-800 to smile, pointing out a young man smiling on the phone, causing the machine to copy the facial pattern and try it out for itself. The result? Well, that goofy-a** grin pictured above. John says, "That's good. Maybe you could practice in front of a mirror or something", at which point the T-800's expression immediately changes to a dour one. It's possibly the silliest gag in the entire movie, but it's still capable of raising a good laugh.
