67 WTF Moments From The Terminator Franchise

18. The Arm-Ripping Scene - Terminator 2: Judgment Day

This super-gnarly scene is embedded deep in the brains of Terminator fans the world over, as the T-800 arrives at Miles Dyson's home to prevent Sarah from killing him. However, he still means business, and rather than explain the apocalyptic future awaiting him should he finish his neural-net processor, he simply shows him by getting a knife and cutting off his false skin, revealing the gore-soaked endoskeleton underneath, much to Dyson and his wife's collective horror. The effects are amazing, and when Arnie tells the pair, "Now listen to me very carefully", you bet your a** they do just that.

17. Skynet's Base Has A Human Interface (But Why?) - Terminator Salvation

One of the most inexcusably nonsensical plot-points in Salvation is that the Skynet central base has a human interface, which Marcus can then freely interact with. It has all these read-outs clearly intended for humans and even a freaking chair to sit on, but how does any of this matter to machines, who are of course running the show? There are probably several explanations which could be contrived by the filmmakers, but in honesty, it's a glaring flaw they clearly hope most viewers won't notice. Terrible.
