5. Bane (The Dark Knight Rises)
Furry winter coat aside (which wasn't that bad - the costume designers said that they took inspiration from a Swedish army jacket and a French Revolution frock coat and amalgamated the two), Bane's mask and body gear in The Dark Knight Rises are both menacing and very cool. The body suit he wears is heavily armoured - likely bullet-proof - and looks like something that would be worn in the military, while the mask - the prime purpose of which is to supply Bane with a constant flow of anaesthetic to ease the pain he would otherwise have to bear thanks to an injury - looks very intimidating and inadvertently provides him with face protection. All things considered, Bane's costume in the Nolanverse makes him look like someone you would not want to cross.
