7 Best And 7 Worst Releases On Netflix In May

9. Best - The Do-Over

Always Sunny In Philadelphia Series 11
Happy Madison Productions

Adam Sandler films can be hit and miss.

For every Happy Gilmore or Big Daddy there's a Pixels or Blended that comes along to remind you that it takes a very special set of circumstances to make his movies funny.

On the surface, the sum of The Do-Over's parts might not seem that impressive - It's directed by the guy who wrote The Mighty Ducks and Little Nicky, with pint-sized jokester David Spade as the uptight foil to Sandler's pretend FBI agent.

But it works. There's bag loads of chemistry in this farcical buddy movie, and while some might knock Sandler for playing exactly the same character for the past twenty years, you like the guy and hope his next film turns the corner.

The Ridiculous Six was viewed more times in its first thirty days than any other film in Netflix history, so while the act may have changed, the goalposts have moved.

If you fancy a good laugh, give The Do-Over a try on Netflix from May 27th.
