7 Dumb Films Based On The Titanic You Won’t Believe Got Made

1. The Sequel, In Search For The Titanic, Throws In Atlantis Because... I'm Sorry... I Just Can€™t Do This Any More...

Tentacolino Beating the Asylum to the punch by a good few years, a sequel to The Legend Of Titanic came a couple of years later, despite no one ever asking for it. Intriguingly named In Search For Titanic (somehow translated from the original Italian title Tentacolino), the film doesn't actually spending much time searching for the Titanic instead using the titular mission as a jumping off point so we can revisit the characters from the original film. Because they were such a joy to be around after all. Not finished with milking the iconography of the Titanic, but also keen to capitalise on Disney€™s recent hit Atlantis, visionary, yet for some reason Wikipedia-entry-less, director Kim J. Ok decided to do both in the same movie. Seemingly merging everything wrong with every film on this list into one horrendously unpalatable mess, it€™s as if the writers mistook Cameron€™s movie as a fiction free for reinterpretation, rather than the tragic mass loss of human life it actually was.
