7 Films That Eerily Predicted Future Roles

5. Jonah Hill - Superbad/21 Jump St

Superbad is the movie that shot Jonah Hill to stardom, where he played a foul-mouthed teen trying to be cool by supplying booze for a party. While Hill later matured into a fine dramatic actor too, his improv skills saw him become a go-to comedy actor for a few years afterwards.

He also made a passing reference to 21 Jump Street during the story, where he complains his scheme isn’t going to work and he whines “This plan’s been F***ed since Jump Street man!” He likely just means the plan was doomed from the start, but this reference really sticks out now he’s the star of the rebooted Jump St movies.

It’s also weirdly meta since he’s playing a high schooler in Superbad, despite being 23 when he filmed it, which is basically the setup of Jump St too.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
