7 Game of Thrones Actors Who Could Defect To Star Wars
3. Charles Dance (Tywin Lannister)
There's not much that can be said about Charles Dance that hasn't already been gushed, the man has proven himself one of the finest British actors working today time and time again, and with his chilling portrayal of Lannister figurehead Tywin has found a legion of new fans. You have to get used to losing key characters on GoT it comes with the territory, but Tywin will be a big miss. there will be plenty of diabolical pretenders looking to fill the void, but the impact of his death will be as keenly felt by the viewers as it will in the Seven Kingdoms. Who He Could Play: High Ranking Imperial, Sith The good news is it frees up his schedule to appear in Star Wars, and his casting in the saga would make complete sense, as he has established himself as somewhat the modern equivalent of actors in the mould of Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee. An actor of Charles Dance's calibre could portray a noble heroic character or a villain with consummate ease but you'd have to think getting him into Star Wars and not having him play a high ranking Imperial or a Sith would be like hiring Jackie Chan to play someone in a wheelchair. So yeah... The Empire should be in the hands of the most dangerous man in the Galaxy!
As well as the odd article, I apply my "special mind" to scriptwriting for Comics, Films and Games... Oh and I cut down trees, I skip and jump, I like to press wild flow'rs, I put on women's clothing, and hang around in bars.
