7 Horror Movie Villains That Just Wanted A Little Justice

3. The Xenomorph Queen (Aliens)

For all of you out there with a couple of kids at home, you know something about the inescapable feeling of dread and preoccupation associated with parenthood. Have the babies eaten yet? Are they clean, are they safe? Now imagine having the responsibility to care for thousands, perhaps millions of your little offspring at the same time.

Such is the burden of the Xenomorph Queen during the events of Aliens, when a group of pesky marines accompany badass survivor Ellen Ripley back to the planetoid where the first xenomorph egg was taken, a questionable move made by the crew of the Nostromo spaceship on the previous film.

You just couldn’t let it go, huh, Ripley?

Upon arriving on the planetoid, which supposedly houses an entire and functional human settlement, this new group of sacrificial lambs encounter countless xenomorph hostiles and are, as expected, picked off one by one. The final showdown takes place in outer space between Ripley and the aforementioned Alien Queen, in a match that was doomed for her majesty from the beginning, considering that Ripley’s weapon was a powerful mech suit forklift thingie.

When you think about it, the Queen was only trying to protect her home and her offspring, a response that both humans and xenomorphs would find equally justified.
