Twisted justice is a kind of justice, right? At least that’s what The Jigsaw Killer (A.K.A. John Kramer) seems to think.
In the first story that inaugurated this ongoing and successful franchise, Kramer is introduced as the unlikely antagonist through a series of revelations filled with ups, downs, loops and turns. He is a brilliant man capable of devising complicated and sadistic traps, all designed for people who he deems not worthy to continue living without reflecting on the precious gift of existence.
In Kramer’s mind, all those who act selfishly and with no regard towards consequence are the ones that deserve to be judged by a unique brand of justice that is based on pain as a means to obtain redemption. Of course, the next big reveal comes when we found out that Kramer is sick with cancer (sorry, spoiler alert), a diagnosis that places his actions in the line between ultimate punishment and petty revenge.
