If you’ve had never heard of El Santo before reading the title of this entry, that’s OK, nobody's perfect. But now that you know about his existence, you should immediately go and research his entire filmography. No, really, do it now…

When you get back, you might want to know that El Santo (A.K.A. The Silver Masked Man) began his illustrious career as a wrestler, who reached peak popularity in Mexican rings during the 1950’s. He became a champion of the people, a heroic figure that through sheer effort and determination accomplished unchallenged feats of will and strength. He simultaneously began a successful movie career and accumulated over 50 professional credits for his characteristic role during the subsequent two and a half decades.

He became an immortal icon, a real legend. At least in merry old Mexico. His specialty? Fighting monsters, ghouls and vampires. What else could it be, silly? He even squared off against Dracula and other famous villains on several occasions, but that’s a story for a different time.

In the feature length film El Santo vs The Evil Brain, the masked hero must stop the plans of demented Dr. Campos, a twisted scientist that has perfected a method to brainwash and enslave anyone he desires. However, El Santo falls under the control of Dr. Campos and helps the evildoer commit several crimes in order to secure a devastating cellular disintegration formula. The usual stuff for your average Mexican luchador hero.

How will Santo get out of this one? Go find out for yourself.
